Delivery and Shipping

Boxed Metro Delivery within 10km of the capital city:

For metropolitan areas, we offer boxed delivery, which may require assembly depending on the product. If assembly issues arise and a technician is needed, customers may incur a call-out or service fee. Free Boxed Delivery is available for orders exceeding $500 within Metro areas (within 10km of the capital city), excluding assembly and setup. Metro Pre-Assembled Delivery is an alternative option if assembly is required.

Pre-Assembled Delivery:

Customers can opt for fully assembled and functional product delivery. This option is particularly beneficial for the elderly or those who may struggle with assembly. There is an additional $300 charge for in-home fitting of hospital beds/riser recliner chairs. Please note, in certain rural areas, assembly of large items may not be feasible.

Description

These features can be challenging in air cell cushions; however, the StarLock features patented technology to lock the airflow between cells to suit the individual, thereby retaining positioning and stability. The air cells adapt to the body structure, minimising tissue deformation.

The StarLock Air Cushion can also be used as a one-compartment cushion. With its unique positioning possibilities and stability, the StarLock cushions provide the highest level of therapeutic prevention and treatment of pressure injuries.

The envelopment ability of the air cell is related to the height of the cell. The higher the cell, the greater the envelopment. The StarLock Air Cushion with 13 cm cell height is recommended for users with severe atrophy or high-pressure care need.

Care Instructions

Easy Cleaning for Cushion: Handwash the cushion with soap, baking soda, or vinegar for regular maintenance. To disinfect the cushion, use a 70% alcohol-based disinfectant solution. Machine washable for a short cycle of 10 minutes with a maximum cleaning temperature of 40°C.
Cover Maintenance: Machine washable in warm water with a maximum cleaning temperature of 60°C. Do not bleach the cover. After washing, rinse it in cold water and either line dry or machine dry at a low temperature.
